My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

This looks so mechanical. Great color! It reminds me of a pencil sharpener from the inside...those old kind grade school teachers always had screwed to their desks. I don't think they have those any more. I like that shape and this looks like the inside of one. I love the shine and the propeller just looming there.

Going way back in aircraft lore for this one. Interesting POV and high contrast lighting effects. Radical shot of the radial, for sure.

These are so much nicer when shown in little slices like this; again, it's a wonderful abstract, with wonderful colour and light!

OoooEeee. I'll bet this looks better today then when it was brand new in 1929 or 1930. Your POV and composition set this image apart:) Like it!

Nice job of capturing the sweet essence of the Radial engine. This is where real flight began. Nice job Tara!

PJ has got to stop stealing my lines! It does put me in mind of a windmill. Very nice POV and exposure balance considering the very bright background.
