Description

I have captured this image last summer at the Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens here in Johannesburg. I have no idea what it is called and I'm hoping Andrea would know! I just love the green and white flowers with the yellow naughty bits! Most unusual! Thank you for visiting and for your wonderful support in comments and favs! Stay well! Hugs Carin xx

Funny how flowers are so flagrant with their naughty bits and no one bats an eyelash at that...but I could rhapsodize forever about the naughtiness of flowers, but I won't. Instead, I'll just sit back and marvel at whatever this specimen is. I have no idea what, but it's lovely! Those flowers are amazing, especially with those green stripes. Fantastic work, as always!

Pregnant onion? With it's naughty bits exposed it's no wonder. A lovely plant, it looks like a painted glass sculpture. A wonderful image.

Great picture! If you go through a few hundreds of Liliaceae, you may find it!
