Description

Something warm for Valentine's Day. Well, all the colors are in the warm spectrum! Another photo of the amber ball. Again, only direct sunlight was used to illuminate the subject from the side and rear. Bear with me, as I have a new camera, but no Photoshop yet. That will let me process new images for the net. Permission to use this image as a screensaver or wallpaper; but not for distribution. Thank you for the look, and for any comments you care to leave. A big thanks for those who favorite me or my images.

Yes, I know the lens' reflection can be seen. I am working on better internal lighting (that is non-invasive), to bring out even more of the details.

Good job Allen! The reflection of the lens does not disturb too much (you could even remove, if desired, with the healing brush). Good Sunday my dear friend.

J'aime bien le fait que l'on puisse voir d'où vient la lumière naturelle. Cela donne encore plus d'intensité aux couleurs.

This is an exquisite capture - to be able to see the detail in the bottom insect. Outstanding shot my friend. Dana

I love Amber! For me it shows that with age, comes beauty. I have a ring with amber in it. I looked in full view, which I believe is the only way to view ANY art. I couldn't figure out what the little critter was in the amber. One of the things I love about amber is the warmth of it. However I would love to have some Baltic amber. I have only seen photos of the green amber. Oh and I also think the lighting you used is great too. A wonderful photo Allen.

Good to see you post something again Allen. If you don't want to spring for expensive Photoshop, try the free-download Gimp program. My daughter uses it and it provides about 80% of PS functionality.

Very beautiful colors. The lens ring actually adds to the mystery of the abstract forms.

Very Beautiful. It has inspired my to try to photo my amber. I have a piece with about a hundred termites in it . The trees last revenge.
