How on earth did it happen that I'm uploading my 1200th image here on Renderosity? It seems like it wasn't long ago that I joined this amazing community. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your comments, your support, and your friendship. This is a wonderful place to hang out! Thank you all very much. ..... This is an iris, from sunnier days ...

Ooh, this is another of those really voluptuous shots! I can so gladly get lost in it! What details! I love the warmth, especially since Chicago seems to have the opposite of warmth in abundance now! Ugh...but we might get something that looks like sunlight tomorrow. I'm not too sure! Congratulations on 1200...I'm looking forward to more than 1200 more! Your gallery rocks! And I love it here too...I like having friends everywhere, especially in Seattle, and I'm still plotting my journey out that way.

Congratulations on 1200! I began watching your gallery grow from about the 600th upload...it has been fun viewing your gradual evolution from lots of flowers (all of which were very well done) into many new areas such as architecture and portraiture and even a few airplane parts of late:) I also have grown to appreciate your postworking skills. Bottom line, watching your progress...I've come to see photography from a lot of new angles too. :)

It's funny, around here the only color like that we're seeing is from the fire place. I really like the randomness of the lines, of course the color steals the show but the lighting being right on the money needs mentioning too. Nice shot.

It is amazing just how creative nature can be to ensure continuation of life. Just look how the 'landing strip' is ready to receive pollen from an insect, only to shower it with its own pollen while it sips nectar. Suddenly I am looking at RR the same way. It is a community of support, sharing and growth. Tara, the lighting on this Firelight is wonderful. Keep on burning and shining for another 1200! Congrats, Clive

1200! Wow!! That's some going and I though I was 'bad!' at over 800! This is an in yer face picture.. Staggeringly vivid in colours! Really something to drink in.... Amazing... There... That sounded good, didn't it? lol Rob
