Description
I'm getting some use out of my 100mm macro lens :) I have lots of photos.. mostly not in focus... lol.
My previous upload, "Flaming Pink". Thank you for looking.
NASCAR tomorrow.. if the rain stays away.
I'm not feeling 100% today, so now I am gonna go crawl back under a blanket with my heating pad.

well this one is in focus.very beautiful.macro lens are bad about dof.I just recently invested in a 180 macro that allows me to get farther back increasing a little dof

But this one is in focus. Crisp and clear. Its a great macro and nice to see a summer capture. I almost forgot how nice summer is. Been showeling snow for two hours today.

Look at those eyes...at least two of them! The compound eyes of bees always remind me of Ray Ban sunglasses and their simple eyes just look like little beads that have been nicely polished. I love the details in this and I have to say that you do insect/Macro photography quite well...you're a natural at it. I love the colors, especially those fuzzy lavender-ish flower-whatchamacallits. The DOF really makes this pop as that background is just indistinct enough to really make the foreground pop, but it's not a boring, indistinct background...there's a wonderful color play taking place especially with the darker areas giving the green a bit more depth. This is exceptionally nice. Plus it's got a bee in it; that can only be a plus.
