Description

Yesterday the Grand Canyon...today the striking lobby of the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas. Here the Egyptian theme rules. I'll have to go back to this hotel to capture a lot more details...but hopefully this lobby ceiling inside "The Luxor Pyramid" will hold your attention until I get back:) The three full sized palm trees will give you a sense of scale. And for those who want to see more...check the outside pics on this wiki. Click Here Bill:) "Always Ask for a Window" thumb_2023228.jpg

I WOULD say .....only in America! BUT! ....for once, although not as BIG! At Gatwick Airport, London, there is a hotel of similar design.... I stayed there with Deb! We called it 'Dracula's Tomb!' lol Its nowhere near as big but of the same design for sure! Impressive sight! Great shot.... Rob

What a bizarre interior! Like huge shutter slats. Superlative POV used to capture the striated perspective effects in this shot of the vast ceiling structure, Bill.

This must have made you feel very small. It looks to be a very impressive place. I can just imagine the work getting those huge beams up there.

Very cool pov. My husband and I have stayed here a couple of times. The elevator is not an elevator but an inclinator because it moves up and the angle of the building. It is a very neat place.
