This is a beautiful image, Mark. Both in its composition and in its soul. The man retains his dignity. I like this very much.

Very thought provoking. What is he doing there, where next, where is the next meal coming from? Well seen.

A man alone, or is he?. He seems deep in thought, and where those thoughts take him might just not be as lonely a place as we may imagine. A nice unobtrusive shot.

I love the atmosphere of this pic, seems restful and relaxed in spite of his apparent situation.

There is a new type of person living out there than in years past. I remember in the 50s we had "tramps" that lived near the railroad tracks near the steel mills. We didn't fear them and we often found one at the back door in the early morning hours asking for some bread or a glass of milk. Mother always gave them something along with a smile. This has a strong composition and good feel to it.

What a gripping scene! I love the airiness of the lighting and the wispy leaves, contrasted with the sturdy fence post and the man. It also reminds me of the book "The Family of Man" did you ever see it? It had many photos from the Great Depression, and this has the same feel. Absolutely superb composition, I love everything about it, except that the man finds himself in that situation.

Remind me of "The old man and the sea". This is the version "The old man and the tree"? A quiet scene with a large statement. Respect!! I wish it a better live.
