Description

I went to the beach yesterday and walked up to one of the barns along the dunes. It's been about a month since I was there and the changes are amazing. This is the stump I have to stand on to take shots of the barn's roof. Last time I was there, it was nearly 4 feet off the ground and I had to work pretty hard to get on top of it. This is where it is now. And the barn roof? I can look OVER the top of it now standing on the sand. Mother Nature has been busy!!!

Nice shot of the stump. The sand has built up a bit, guess its so the land is higher so when the ice melts with global warming it wont overflow the land ;^)

How interesting it must be to see this place change year by year! You must feel so much a part of it.

Totally terrific textures in this capture, Maz! Glad to read that you didn't let this stump "stump" you when trying to crawl atop it.
