Perhaps less glamorous than say the photo of the " Fort St. Louis " I uploaded here yesterday, but still an integral part of the whole picture if you will. These are the loading berths for the " Fort " class of ship and here one can clearly see how the process of loading and offloading would be considerably easier and maybe less costly than by conventional method. The building itself still stands as a reminder of a tyme gone by. thanks for the peek........
