We see them at some point in our lives and for the most part probably never give them much of a second thought, perhaps consider them a momentary annoyance as we have to be stopped maybe in our lives as they trundle pass clattering and bang pulling a long line of items that maybe at some distant point we will use or come in contact with and again maybe not give a second thought to as its just there. However there is the " alternate view " here that we do not see, the view of a singular man who does from time to time intersect our lives with his intrusion, not meaning to upset us in his day to day ramblings as he sits in his position of authority viewing a world that for him/her is as vastly different from our own...... ...the engineer.
