Description
Captured back on 10/29/07, at the 6th Annual Wings Wheels Rotors & Expo, held at the beautiful Joint Forces Training Base (JFTB) in beautiful Los Alamitos, California.
Much better viewed full size.
This is regretfully the last of the series.
I patiently went through page after page in my two-ton aviation encyclopedia, but couldn't find one aeroplane that exactly matched the colorful one in the bottom foto. Therefore, I named it after the closest craft it resembled. That's what's called identifier's license, lol.
Then again, maybe someone out in the viewing audience knows the actual make and model of this joy rider.
And why the two-blade propellers on the P-47 and P-51? I don't get it, unless it's for better model flight control. The real guys have three- and/or four-blade propellers.
BTW, that is not the same P-47 that I posted in my WWII model #1 collage.
And, those are real live Lilliputian pilots at the controls.
Ciao, thankx for clicking on, and for any comments and/or faves.

The pilot in the desert plane really looks a little stiff...another great threesome Harry...haven't a clue as to the type of plane..

OK, Harry...I think the type of aircraft you are looking to identify is a small racer used internationally these days. They are capable of flying 250-400 miles per hours. One name I've been able to find is MXS...which doesn't really tell you much. I'd look for a little more info but I am running out of steam:) These aircraft are all hand built and are like the hot rods of the air.

Doskonałe wyczucie koloru i sceny. Przy powiększeniu widać dopiero artyzm wykonania. Bardzo dobra praca.

Great shots again, Harry... I've seen the third plane as is, in real life.. Its a aerobatic aircraft.. And I can't off the top of my head, think of the name... (Hang on.... I think its what 'The Blades' fly.. Let me check... lol) Yep...It sure looks VERY much like it... It looks like an Extra 300-EP. There you go.. Obviously a model of!! The Blades have a website if you wish to double check... I did... Great pictures Harry! Love them... Rob
