Description
This is a view off of one of the many cliffsides of the Montana de Oro State Park. This has got to be one of the most beautiful beaches on the Central Coast. The rock formations, tide pools, bird watching and just overall feel of the area are unrivaled in my opinion. It's never been too crowded, the trails are rough but nicely maintained for walking, mountain biking and horseback riding. Some of the secluded little beaches (which cannot be accessed by any means) give leave for the imagination to soar.
I took this sometime last year when we paid a visit to the park.
Still 'trying' to reload my DAZ content, so be prepared for more pictures, seascapes, weird stuff and critters!

This park features rugged cliffs, secluded sandy beaches, coastal plains, streams, canyons, and hills, including 1,347-foot Valencia Peak. Naturalists and backpackers enjoy the solitude and freedom found along the park’s trails. There are also mountain biking and equestrian trails. The best-known beach is Spooner’s Cove, across from the campground. The park’s name, "Mountain of Gold," comes from the golden wildflowers that bloom in spring. Wildlife in the park includes black tailed deer and the black oystercatcher. The park includes primitive and equestrian campsites.

The park is six miles southwest of Morro bay and seven miles south of Los Osos on Pecho Road.

I am an old California resident from years ago...in other words I no longer live there:-) All of your images of this area are beautiful. I have never visited this part of the coast before...my old residences were in Fort Irwin, 37 miles out in the Mojave from Barstow, Monterey and San Francisco. You live in a beautiful state.
