BIO I'm an illustrator, and for the last 15 years I have been doing almost exclusively digital work--mostly covers for e-books and small presses; fantasy, SF and Paranormal Romance covers are my specialty. I use Poser, Photoshop and Painter, and a nifty little paint program called ArtRage. I have been lucky enough to have work shown on the BBC's The Sky at Night, done promotional artwork for the Hugos, and have digital art tutorials published in Michael Burn's Femme Digitale and Digital SciFi Art (Watson-Guptill 2004) as well as DVD covers, cd covers and e-book covers, most recently for Liquid Silver Books, Edge/Tesseract and Dragon Moon Press. I'm also a member of the International Association of Astronomical Artists. . When I have time, I do acrylic paintings for fun.
Commissions: I do 3d texturing and backgrounds now rather than book covers, and I do appreciate a good UV template to work on. Thanks for checking out my bio!

Excellent image

Fantastic image! Seeing this, one can't help but wonder if it wasn't fate that brought Bryan to Bart so that Bart would be captured and justice served!

the uniformed man is outstanding.his beard shadow is so realistic and the injured man is an exceptional pose

Amazing work on this one Lynn, you always set up the scenes to perfectly mirror the story.

Teeth pulled out with pliers? Ouch! That's brutal. Great scene, Officer Chan's expression is wonderful as is his son's. Great realism in their emotions.

Boy do these two ever looked pissed, I kinda have to laugh. Classic tough dad can't bring himself to look at his son. probably thinking he should have done a better job teaching the kid to fight. So many nice touches like the TV reflection on the back wall and the cops hand on the pillow but not on his kid's knee where it belongs.

Excellent!!

Lmao @ Bryan...what's a guy to do with a sister who doesn't let him eat pudding with his fingers, lol. Jason is lucky Ford didn't run off with his liver (maybe he never had a liver doner's card?) He's also lucky he isn't stuck in the hospital wearing a snowflake robe with no undies 'cause the hospital lost his stuff and his Girlfriend is off looking for it for 5 hours. cough I do want to know what the medical thingy is, that looks cool, and that is a cool idea with the tape.
alessimarco
Once again you illustrate what I am going to call the "angel in the details" (as opposed to the devil) because the little details in your work are so attractive and well done! You called attention to the cloth tape...nice idea....but not to the patterned sheets (imagine that in a hospital) or the cool reflective glow of the TV on the tile wall...excellently done! There are undoubtedly others I have missed...but they all go together fabulously to make up your incredible scenes! Bravo!

Another fantastic illustration of your story. Love all the details you put into the image.

yay! i'm so glad to see the whole story come out. and i agree with alessimarco- the little details in this seemingly simple scene are interesting. for instance, that's a lot more spare than the last hospital room i saw in real life. given what we've seen of the rest of the world, and the mixture of high and low tech, i'm guessing that's not an accident. i can't tell exactly what's happened to his leg, and how he still has a right foot, but i'm sure you know exactly. stainless steel teeth sounds cool and even better as potential weapons. you did an excellent job of creating a family resemblance without making them identical. and i'm glad Slicer's gruesome work has been ended, but what about his customers?

great characters and render!!
gerberc
Fubulous illustration! Characters and pose are very natural!

I hadn't realized how much a hospital room looks like a zombie morgue. :) But seriously, I like the room. If anything it is more lively than the last hospital room my wife was in. The sheets have a pattern and everything.

Excellent scene ! Love the details !
