BIO I'm an illustrator, and for the last 15 years I have been doing almost exclusively digital work--mostly covers for e-books and small presses; fantasy, SF and Paranormal Romance covers are my specialty. I use Poser, Photoshop and Painter, and a nifty little paint program called ArtRage. I have been lucky enough to have work shown on the BBC's The Sky at Night, done promotional artwork for the Hugos, and have digital art tutorials published in Michael Burn's Femme Digitale and Digital SciFi Art (Watson-Guptill 2004) as well as DVD covers, cd covers and e-book covers, most recently for Liquid Silver Books, Edge/Tesseract and Dragon Moon Press. I'm also a member of the International Association of Astronomical Artists. . When I have time, I do acrylic paintings for fun.
Commissions: I do 3d texturing and backgrounds now rather than book covers, and I do appreciate a good UV template to work on. Thanks for checking out my bio!

The cat hair on the sweats is priceless! And I love the reflection of the TV in the mirror. With such regal names the cats have I'm surprised they would bother with cat toys. I can't comment about everything (that would be a book LOL) but I do have to say you do fabulous work!

Heh heh! I love all the little details here, especially the cat hair all over (I thought I was the only one who has to comb his face in the morning thanks to Mz Fatty and Senior Fluffy-Pants) Dang it, I've done the pencil thing too!

Goodness me - the amount of detail in your story telling is impressive! Really enjoyed reading this. Great 'other side' of the story and it's cool to see his mom. Love her house and the wonderful decor. Love the toy mouse on the floor. So does it belong to General Fang and is it full of cat nip? :) And you even have family pictures on the bookshelf behind her. Nice touch!

this is just such an incredible scene. the way the framing focuses on the main character and her reaction, while managing to show what she's reacting to in a reflection makes me think of good DP work in movies. at the same time, i think it works best as it is here, in a static medium. in a real movie, watching both happen at the same time would be a little overwhelming. the detail (as always) is amazing, and you got the cats to look like actual cats! the only thing that strikes me is that everyone is a little squarely posed. that is, Mrs. Kim's legs look like they're posed identically, with her feet even and right next to each other. General Fang is so squarely posed, he makes me think of a horse waiting for someone to mount. and Madame Mau Mau's forelegs are very even and symmetrical. wow, that took a lot of space to write, but really, it's a small issue. i only notice because i enjoy looking at each image so much. i mean, i'm just blown away by things like the leaves in the bottom of the tea cup and the cat toys. you've managed to make a scene that at once looks homey and very neat, which goes with catching Mrs. Kim in the middle of working. love the story, and Petunia's handling of her mom. though i hope Mrs. Kim up and surprises her one day.
