Description

Never to be seen again... Please ZOOM for full effect. This is a combination of three of my photos, dated in February 2010: 1. The British Airways Concorde sitting in the back yard of Boeing's Museum of Flight in Seattle. The Concorde ceased flight operations in October 2003 after 27 successful years. 2. A sky over Washington State as seen after climbing above the clouds subsequent to takeoff from Seattle's SEA-TAC airport. 3. The inside of my window next to seat 2D in a Midwest Airlines flight. This would have been the heart stopping scene of a near miss if this had been real. Air Controllers would have been asleep at the switch. A fantastic image and really great manipulation! VERY good thing this didn't happen for real, but just love the concord there. It really is a beautiful plane.

Reminds me of seeing a real near miss from inside, not quite this close though, but the stewardesses were quite visibly upset. Didn't seem too bad to me.

Bill, we find this shot completely feasible. All you need is a Red Arrows pilot at the controls of Concorde and this manouver could have been followed by a high speed barrel roll around the plane you were in!! Great idea, well composed.

Impressive work Bill! way to go.. This looks really great.. A waste of a fabulous airliner! Another, don't get me started on it..jobs! Oh well.. I saw it fly once.. A beauty to behold.. And a sound like a flight of Air force fighters!! So cool.. Only the Lightening could catch it in level flight.. (They tried!) Great stuff, mate! Rob

Super blending of the three fotos makes for a super concept, Bill. I wonder what would have happened if your aircraft had been caught in the wake of the Concorde SST as it zoomed by. And, I thought at first by the "never to be seen again" statement that you were talking about one dollar -- or probably two dollar -- a gallon gasoline.
