Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Well captured! The water look's a bit murky, I wonder what is causing that.

Headed over that way in just a few minutes. I think I know where you were when you took this so I'll see if I can find what it looks like now and snap it. :-) Great shot. Definitely home.

Ah, behold the power of shrimp! I LOVE shrimp!!! When I was a kid it was my perennial birthday dinner of choice. For my 13th birthday I actually ate 53 breaded jumbo jobs. How I did this is rather mysterious to me now-like a lot of other things that happened nearly 35 years ago. Very nice shot. I can smell the briney water and feel the sticky humidity. I'd love to travel as much as you do. Very nice.
