Description

Namibia 2010 Last year we took pictures of this little wooden boat called "The Foxy". It was definitely not seaworthy but still used as a planter with the sides still intact and the name proudly on the back. This year I went back to The Foxy and this is all that was left after one year. I find it pretty symbolic! Isn't it true that with all things in life - if you do not nurture it and take care of it - you will eventually only be left with the skeleton... *sigh* Thank you for popping in and for your wonderful support in comments and favs on my "A Sunset to Remember" upload of yesterday! Stay well! Hugs Carin xx

I like the shot alot (regards of the interesting side note about time) I think the image stands up well on it own - I see you may have run into the same problem I also have at times with color level becomeing overly vivid as a result of postwork - as in the boat rust ? - I would be interested in knowing if I am seeing this correctly ? Super Work :)

I hear you, girlfriend, loud and clear. Things have to be taken care of, or they just fall apart. A wonderful shot, full of all kinds of meaning and details!!

OMG, a drab surfeit of foreground chaos and clutter in this interesting capture, Carin! Looks relatively shipshape in the distance, though.

Things which are not nurtured will, indeed, fall apart after a while. That's true of many things. This is a wonderful image ... I love the pov!
