Hello :) I made it through surgery. Now I am recovering. I am feeling better day by day, but still have a ways to go. Thank you to all of you for you prayers and well wishes, I am certain they helped.
This is another version of Split Rock Lighthouse. Taken using a polarizing filter and some added post work on this one. A little crop, some color enhancement and a cool filter.
Oh my gosh! When I came back I had the greatest surprise! I had my gallery chosen as "Gallery of the Month"! Thank you so much for choosing my gallery as April 2010 Gallery of the Month! What a super honor :)

Outstanding clarity, colors and textures in another shot of the handsome lighthouse, atop what looks like Blueberry Hill. You survived surgery, a huge welcome back, and you're just about ready to get back on the Renderosity saddle full time, Melinda! But don't rush it.

That is one of the most spectacular cliff faces I've seen. Juts right out and its so straight and powerful. Topped by a marvelous lighthouse too! Fabulous shot.

Living in Duluth, Minnesota for the past 34 years it is nice to see others enjoying what we here in Duluth unfortunately frequently take for granted--our beautiful North Shore. You have some very nice shots of the Split Rock Lighthouse and I am glad you got to see Glensheen.

This is a great marker in numerous ways! First it's a great way to mark the success of a now-past surgery! It's also a great lighthouse marker--something a bit more literal, and I love the color of the lighthouse itself. It's kind of the normal color of a Czech building, which would naturally appeal to me. I like the POV as well, and the whole sense of color is spot-on perfect!
