Cool clarity in this shot of the lighthouse, but I'm also impressed by the lighting and texture of the awesome big rock/cliff it's sitting on, Melinda. Hope you're recovering in a satisfactory manner.

I love that sheer cliff face and the way the various rock colors dance around in it. That sky is amazing too! Such a sharp and clean blue, as if air pollution is one of those unpleasant thoughts from somewhere else. Great light and the lighthouse itself is so poignant sitting up there...I can imagine the seaward view from there and the sense of isolation you'd get at night, looking out with all of civilization behind you (at least subjectively) and that wonderful sense of lighthouse isolation I always imagine when thinking about lighthouses. This is a great image! Super!
