Description
hello to all! thanks for viewing my work. i hope the weekend is going well for you. a double thanks to those who take the time to comment and help me improve on my work.
finally! these are the metallic lycras i've been working on since i last posted. right now they're a freebie on ShareCG, but i'll upload them here when my name change to kobaltkween goes through. i can't believe i had to _buy_ that.
well, i also installed Poser 7 (got it in that incredible sale), and ported all the utilities that i could and cleaned out the new runtime. from now until i don't know when i'll be cleaning my runtimes and adding them when they're done.
other than a totally bizarre bug with the windows it calls up (they won't close on their own), i'm having a great time with P7. much faster and higher quality renders (especially the shadows) than P6. it makes me _really_ want PP 2010, but i'll have to wait.
my next step will be to make a test material (checkermap) for clothes in general, see if i can make the UV map on the catsuit any better, and distribute it with some materials and textures. i probably won't make true textures, just masks to control color and other features. then i will return to battling the Acolyte pants' texture, with new weapons provided by lwperkins (thanks so much!)
no rest for the wicked!

I'm drooling for the copper tex, I never have enough stuff in that color, so this is so cool--thanks for sharing. Yes, they make you pay to change, so you don't change every couple of days, probably (you know there are people who would do that if it was free;) I like P7 a lot. The lights still conk out sometimes if you try to add too much to them --I can't get wacros to work on the lights and some of the IBL sets I have are a little wonky too, but everything else works well. That must be your own character, she looks wonderful!

What is really incredible is how these render in all sorts of lights, cobaltDream. I love your science and so want to learn it, but then, you are such a good artist too, and no one can learn that. Well, not really. Beautiful work!

Those textures look really fantastic! The blue expecially, I think. Perhaps you might consider something in the line of gem-tones? Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire, etc? Would that even be possible?

I like your old name better - and you're paying to change??? What about something catchy like combatkitty or beatenpussy or... lol well, as long as you're happy with your name, what's it matter if people can't remember it or how to spell it - lol... sometimes, when you try to make your name easy, people screw it up anyway... there are a lot of people on this site that think my last name is Erson - lol - idiots - lol.

I really like how they look. I'll take a peak to their settings - maybe I'll learn a thing or two :) Can't wait to see your progress on Acolyte.
