Description
hello and thanks for viewing! an even bigger thanks to everyone who comments. i take your feedback very seriously, and greatly appreciate the time you take.
i'm once more trying to post frequently. wish me luck. i'm a bit too detail-oriented and too much of a perfectionist to whip stuff out easily.
this one is from right after the previous image. it uses my version of VSS on V4 and David. i can't remember what texture i used on her, but i know i used Andre by AtlantiStyle on him. best male texture i own.
both outfits are dynamic, but i think his pants were conforming to begin with. the dress was a freebie i picked up here. the petals are by Nerd and found at DAZ. the hair is all painted, using free brushes and my own brushes. volumetric light is postworked, and i probably should have worked on it more.
the dress was interesting to sim. i brought her down some, so the dress could float up. edited to clarify: i needed her dress floating because everything about her is floating, not just her body. all of it is weightless and drifting upward, not shooting. so i brought her up, but then brought her down a little (though not much) to get the dress to float more.
oh, and i had to totally re-render the guy. the original pose made him look as if he was launching her, and not at all what i wanted. he's still the weakest point, i think. i should have studied more dance photos.

Fantastic job on the hair - the guy's is a little short = lol... poses look super... the whole image looks super... the only thing that catches my eye is her dress if floating up - if she's going up, her dress should be coming down.

The sense of her being drawn up and away is amazing....the hair, dress, and petals all give the sense of upward flow! I like you use of light too!

It's pretty good, but she does look like she is drifting down instead of going up. His pose is a bit off. Grasping his hands more would make him look more like grabbing at her instead of flattened hands that might have launched her into the air. It looks like a ballet scene.

Perhaps I don't see what others do: I see a mystical woman gone to spirit, and a man reaching for her desperately, yearningly, but with a sense of loss. That he is on his knees is symbolic to me that his status has lessened: that she has moved on, gaining strength in her flight from her former life, from what was important but now isn't. I quite find her entire posture and form empowered and energised, and his: deflated and defeated. By the way, he is not smaller than she is: simple measurements shows him to actually be taller. Correct me if I'm wrong. This is to me an incredibly feel-good image: one that could symbolise the aerie beauty - depicted by a ballet / water-motion act - of flying away, up towards rose-petalled light. I love this!!

I don't notice the technical details in this one, I think it's just an incredibly beautiful image! So nice to see more posts from you!

Actually the guy's pose works very well here for me. The left hand is reaching up towards her in a failed attempt to catch her back and the right hand is beckoning his desire to have her float back down to him. She is lost in the rapture of the light and is reaching up to claim it and move on. Very nice work.

This is simply beautiful, and a "message" of their poses is clear to me. Girl's underwater look works great here. I'm only not sure about that horizontal line where wall connects floor. It cuts image in 2 pieces and took my attention away from scene itself. Maybe if it wasn't so distinctive, sharp?

Some of us here are slow posters too, so don't feel rushed to produce. I like the sense of weightlessness here. The painted hair, petals and dress really convey that well. And I'm always interested to see your dynamic cloth while I wrestle with my own. Something about the man's right arm seems off, but it looks more like the fact that Poser joints sometimes appear odd from certain angles. Or maybe that the lighting makes his forearm appear to blend somewhat into the background. But for some reason I really like the dance/ballet theme, maybe because I think "weightless" when I think of ballet. Very nice.
