Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Be careful for the sand traps. There might be a nail or two. Aloha

Oh wow what a great shot. I've been shooting at the beach today too (just for something different!!!). It amazes me how the sand in your area covers everything. It seems to be eroding and blowing away all the time down here! So much so that every 5 years or so they dredge more of it up from the depths and replenish the beaches.

Absolutely astonishing. I'm quite attached to that other barn, and would be sorry to see it go, as well.

Great composition and lighting! Like how the patterns in the sand look like the corrugated metal.
