Description

A cut above the rest ? you must shearly be joking ! ...some might think I snip my lawn with scissors...hmmm, yeah right ! My long lost scissors - found at last, seven years later...a nice antique now - but not all is lost ! *** What an awesome photo opportunity to practise with some new tools (for me) in photoshop, layers/stacking, highpass filters and/or dodge & burn tools. (as a suggested technique by 'promiselamb', thanks) *BB*

I have to disagree with Madbat, I really think this pair of scissors is way past the can of WD40, but they sure do make a great image and I like the bonus little blue flower...kool ! Nice work BB & ~Cheers~

Pretty cool shot and viewpoint! Personally I think those scissors look more like an archeological find than an antique :) they can make a good prop for more pics too

Great shot!!! Very nice postwork too, they really stand out from the grass. Probably best to get a tetnus shot before using these.

I'm glad you found them and not the motor mower as they would have surely wrecked havoc on that. I can just see you clipping your lawn with a pair of scissors LOL. The scissors make a great contrast with the lawn. Excellent shot.

Well, I didn't think that you snip your lawn with it... but the first thought was that you discovered an ancient lawn mower!!!
