Description

With apologies to everyone used to my artistic stylings, yes this is a picture of one of my cats. Max is an eight year old neutered male cat of unknown ancestry. He has definitely graduated to "big ol' tomcat" status with many hours spent laying about in the sunshine and ensuring that the food dish is filled at regular intervals. Full name: Magnus Felis Maximus Nickname :"Boo" Job Title: Senior Rodent Control Officer Favorite Quote: "You changed it, now it sucks!" "Max" was photographed under natural lighting with a handheld Canon EOS Rebel XSI using an EF 70-200mm Zoom Lens. I used a tight zoom at close range for extreme depth of field. Post processing in Photoshop included lens correction, some filtering and sharpening and cropping. Thanks for looking... there will be one more Cat picture and possibly a Dog in the near future. You've been warned :)

He is handsome. and seems he has you well trained to keep the food supply coming. My dog has us well trained for the same purpose, also to open the door at frequent intervals.... LOL Love em though.. :)

great lighting. i'm actually looking forward to more pet photos. i can understand your CG portrait style a little more looking at this. somehow, the differences make the core composition aspects more apparent. i'm surprised he puts up with that collar. none of the cats i owned ever did. pardon, none of the cats who owned me that is.
