Description
This is a brewery sporting a medieval atmosphere just below the Castle of Prague, and I have to say that their way to capture the tourists' fancy is pretty effective. In fact the guy at first checked that the prisoner was a nannequin, then entered. You never know! The beer is excellent, and it's likely that they have been serving beer since the Middle Ages. Here the German community lived, but after the king decided to build the castle they were forced to move their houses elsewhere. However, as it always happened, shops and trade flourished along the narrow streets along the castle walls. And they still do.
Not all of you who commented about the price on the menus in the previous post knew that the Euro has not been adopted by the Czech Republic, even if they'll adopt it in the near future. So, to get an idea of the prices,
1 euro = 24,49 Czech crowns (CZK)
1 US dollar = 18, 42 CZK
190 CZK (the price on the menu ): = 7, 75 euros or 10, 31 USD. Very cheap according to Italian standards.
Thank you for your kind comments.

Hey...did you notice, your next upload is #300! I always find each 100 to be a bit of a milestone for me...(lifts Pils) Here's to your next upload! Cheers!

indeed very regular and decent prices. and as long as the english keep the pound they can keep their crowns as well equal rights to all. CZK sounds like a mean gun heheheh.hey i blast your head away with my CZK huh?lol.

So they locked him up for not paying for his meal and beer. Now they have to feed him and probably give him beer! Funny picture. And yes, Pilsner Urquell would be nice. I really must get to Prague.

Thanks for sharing this one Sandra, and your right as it is a very clever way to get the attention of customers. Reminds me a bit of a scene setup on a ride in my area.
