Description

Ultra Fractal 5.03, 3-layers. The formula is, of course, David Makin's "mmf.Wip3D5." I suppose it is still in an embryonic form, and is not yet available amongst the UF public formulas. Even in this unfinished condition it exhibits some remarkable properties though, like most of the 3D formulas, it can be a drain on computer resources. I've had some test images take more than 30-minutes to render on the screen. This turns exploration into an agonishing business and means many of the rich array of controls are a mystery to me. Still making do with less is often the best creative challenge. As to challenges, can anyone come up with an explanatory title for this image. Mine points to a different explanation, as you will possibly have noticed. Cliff.
