Description

Well needless to say on Derby Day we got 11 inches of rain...then more after that...This is what part of Green River looks like now...There was no school today..suppose to be tomorrow but I doubt it these country roads where kids live rise quick....and they are rising..People got evacuated out of their homes in the trailer parks...it flooded my sons church basement..and it is just a mess....I haven't saw it this high in a very long time...I was amazed when I got out and looked and took what little pics I could get good images of....In other counties Red Cross is in boats taking food to people..that is the only way they can get in and out...Tomorrow and next day is suppose to be sunny and no rain but come Thurs there is...so what goes down will come right back up...... I just wonder where all the little fish that has just been born go...and I wonder if they survive.... Haven't saw it this bad since back in 1997 I think... As usual I did all post work in PSP 9 Added borders,frame, and text.... Adjusted hue and saturation and also sharpened the image just a little bit more Haven't felt good all weekend have been in bed hurting so bad....Need to get ready to go there now... I also made it in the Gallery Art Charts..I ranked number 26 for the image I did Love In A Mist..This really gave me a smile.... There was a fact included in our weather report recently: More people die in floods than in any other natural event! I'm glad you and your family are safe, Sis.
