Description

I’m pretty sure that this is a Red-Tailed Hawk. S/he was about 22 inches (56cm) long with a wingspan of 50 inches (127cm). Spent so much time shooting the face, I didn’t get a full body shot. ZOOM mode would be a treat. Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous comments. Dana

Excellent shot! Funny, both you and whtnight posted side-by-side shots of red-tailed hawks at nearly the same time, and I managed to get my first shots of one just a day ago. They are not nearly as good as either of yours but I might post one anyway, but later as I have just started a 13 day story.
