Description
The Black-crowned Night Heron is a medium-sized heron. Adults are approximately 25 inches (64 cm) long and weigh 28 oz (800 g). They have a black crown and back with the remainder of the body white or grey, redish eyes, and short yellow legs. The breeding habitat is fresh and salt-water wetlands throughout much of the world. I posted a juvenile a while back and thought you should see what his Mom or Dad would look like. Some information from Wikipedia.

What an elegant critter! WOW! I like this quite a lot! He does look a bit serious, as if he's high-up in the way things work and is thinking about the next committee meeting he has to attend. Wonderful work as always, and yeah...as others have noticed, you do post some amazing bird shots!
