Description
Though there isn't much of an island anymore, the Cockspur Island lighthouse still stands at the inlet between Tybee Island and Savannah, GA near Fort Pulaski. Photo taken from a nearby bridge, there is no easy access to this 47" tall lighthouse, especially at high tide.

The 'Bell' lighthouse's little cousin!!!!! I bet those houses are nice on the horizon too.

Never saw a lighthouse in the middle of the water before. Nice find, so unusual. Aloha

Great catch but looks kind of lonely out there. Dana

Take two... Well you sure don't have to worry about mowing the lawn, but going stir-crazy could be a worry ! Neat and lonely capture Kort ! ~Cheers~ p.s. had to delete my first comment, because I didn't check it in the zoomed version.

Good heavens, what an anomaly! The lighthouse looks so weird sitting out there isolated in the middle of the ocean. In any event, stellar capture of this oddity, Kort.
