Description
A tourist mother is a good image for the Mom's Day, I suppose. The yellow building in the background is the Naprstek´s Museum of Asian, African and American Cultures. In front of her (but you can't see it) there's the Bethlehem Hussite chapel.
The roots of Naprstek's Museum can be tracked back to the second half of the 19th century when Vojta Naprstek decided to establish an industrial museum in Prague. However, the museum gradually turned into an ethnographic one as Naprstek was an avid traveller as well as a major sponsor of other Czech travellers.

Superb shot! I like the lower angle you got here, and those colors are amazing! I miss those buildings tremendously--there's a green one that I want to buy, it's an ugly green, which is why I want it. Nowhere near where you took this shot though, it's way out in Prague 3, where nearly everything is pigeon colored except for the American athletic shoes worn by Roma (Gypsy) guys with a thing for Naomi Campbell. The sunlight catches everything perfectly here. I love this shot and--like the others--I'm all warm and nostalgic looking at it. Marvelous.
