Description

Francesco Ramiro has little time for religion. He has seen enough of the dark side of life to be profoundly unsentimental about it. Even so, like many men whose lives promise to be short and brutal, he is superstitious and unwilling to offend any powers which might be inclined to make his life even shorter in return. Waiting in Don Tommaso della Querciaâ??s chapel for the old man to finish his prayers, Francesco is unaware that his caution is increasing his own danger. The city guards have been alerted and are waiting outside and it will only be by a miracle that he is able to escape them. Something a little different... I decided it was time to have a go at a proper scene, like a still from a film. Inspired by my purchase of DM's Wicked Places, which I bought almost entirely for the cross and oil lamps. As for the camera angle and lighting... I guess I was just having a film noir moment :-)
