Description

More fin de siècle stone statues decorating the facade of a building in Old Town Square in Prague. I couldn't find anything about it, so you are free to imagine what you like. For example the woman on the right may be yelling: 'If you don't like my dinner, you can well go out, this isn't a restaurant!' Or she has just discovered that he begot an illegitimate brat under her nose, and now her children have to divide the inheritance... (it happened to a neighbor of mine). Of course, I'm open to suggestions! Thank you for your kind comments.

I think she is berating him for losing all their wealth in the stock market and now have to move out of their palace! "My father warned me about you!" she screams, as her poor (now very poor) husband can only whimper back a very feeble, "Yes dear." A most excellent capture. It would have been nice to see what these sculptures looked like when new. Has the environment done this discoloring to them? Excellent photo and subject matter as always, my dear Sandra! Thank you again for your marvelous generosity in sharing your view of the world with us!

NO I remember this - My wife and myself - She is giving one of her instructive lectures on the fine points of marrital bliss ;0 - Because of a conditioned reaction I have developed I can only view for 30 second before I nod off - LOL - This is a real gem -

All I can say is man she is really pissed! I like the way these statues are so animated, each one telling a story.
