Looking thru one of the many posts that were sitting around--I think they were used as a kind of fence post.

I love this peephole POV, it makes such a great frame! The whole scene is vivid, and has that kind of covert feeling, like you're sneaking up and looking at something that people want to remain hidden. I like that feeling. It's nicely edgy. I like this idea and execution a lot! I'm gonna have to look for some holes to look through now.
