Description
Not having a macro this is but a close up. It gives an idea of the compisition of this bit of coastline.
I liked a posting that beachzz recently did and thought I would post this one in return. This is the same beach from yesterdays surf image, "Sea cream".
Even though most of these rocks are all but size of your pinkie nail and even smaller. The biggest about the size of your thumb nail. I could spend hours gathering them.
The variety of minerals is astounding. From Amethyst, Amazonite, Tiger eye, Quartz, Pacific jade, Jade, blood stone, Jasper, Agate, and so many more.

This is wonderful to me! I once was a serious stone cutter and I see stones in here that could be beautiful as jewelry with a little bit of cutting and shaping. Great shot!

I'm impressed by this photo! These stone looks so fantastic, love them!!! I also could spend hours to gathering those beautiful collaring ones. That's one of my favorite hobby's, which my husband not always likes as much (he helps me to carry them home, and mostly there are big stones too;-))

The thumbnail of this drew me right in . Beautiful in all colors and shapes! Excellent clarity and color. I'd want to fill my pockets with them too. I remember my son, age 3, walking towards me, having to hold up his pants by the waist band to keep them from falling. His pockets were bulging with pebbles.
