Description
I took many shots of these balls a couble of years back. They are really fascinating to look at, when the sun is shining through them.
The make macramé is made bye my father and my uncle. They both made beautiful make macramé.

Weather is grey and it can rain any minute.
Please cross your fingers... and toes, that the floor man can come today and finnish the floor. We also have a trailer filled with the old floor, but we cannot go to the junk yard, when we dont know if Jimmy comes today and finnish that floor.
Ok, the day is still young :)

Beautiful image! It's interesting to see the light and shadow on the top string and the string seen through the glass. Good luck with your floor! I hope the weather turns brighter. Here it is hot, hot and hot!

Great news about the floor! This is such a beautuful image, and all the more so for the intimate memories of your father and his brother. I only have 2 glass floats, both green. I wish now I'd collected more when they were still in use!

There is something magical about glass. It's like water that stands still, and there is something magical about water also. I think it's the way that both can play with light and color, and the way that everything always seems so clean, but not sterile. Clean, and alive. I love the woven patterns too, it's beautiful handiwork, and the colors you captured are astonishing. I see this image, and others you've taken, and I get the feeling that your house is full of marvelous little treasures. This is quite nice! I like it a lot! As for the floor, I love the unfolding drama. I always enjoy seeing and reading your posts!
