Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Those leaves are a really dark green. I see the ocean, a little of it. ;c) Saw a whole bunch of it on vacation.

Good sharp detailed capture of the plants in the foreground, contrasted against what appears to be the fuzzy image of a long rock out there in the ocean, M.

I love this shot! It adds a mystery!

Ahh I don't see the ocean you got these plants in the way - I think the shot of the plant is just great alone - A trick I use is standing on the other side of a object that blocks my shot - but thats just me - Take Care :)

That looks a really tough salt tolerant plant. #I seem to recognise it..I just hate it when the name escapes me!

The plants do look as if they will even survive the Namib desert! Very nice POV Marilyn!
