Description

Juxtapositions. East Meets West, Old Meets New, Traditional Meets Modern, Yin and Yang, Quiet and Loud, High and Low, Fast and Slow, Filled and Empty. The monks live in their temple up in the ancient mountains and they have been there since anyone can remember they are old and wise in the ways of the mind, spirit and body. . They see and appreciate that which is given to them. They are thankful for the sky and the birds and the animals and the fertile ground. They see with their hearts into the souls of man and nature. They live in Harmony and peace with nature and themselves. They want for no material or earthly goods other than those to sustain them. Up above the aircraft the newest and most advanced of the world. Being totally dependant upon the 1's and 0's of binary code and the logic of programs and advanced machines to see and navigate the visible world? It flies across the sky burning up precious fuels and resources. It's engines gorge on the clean air and spews out hot turbulent gases and toxic fumes. Just so that the material goods and earthly treasures can be brought to those who desire such things. But they are blind for see nothing and know nothing and appreciate nothing of the nature or of soul or of the spirit or of mind but only of the body. Better to be the poor servant of a poor master, and to endure anything, rather than think as they do and live after their manner? ...Socrates In the Allegory of the Cave Messing around in CarraraPro8 Thanks for the wonderful comments and Favs as of Late.
