Description

Art for a card called "Hull Breach!" for an upcoming collectible card game. It will be a rare card that maxes out volley fire damage against your enemy. They wanted something...big...for this card, so I tried to make an image where you could almost hear the orchestral sci-fi music in the background. I'm not really sure what kind of weapon would do all that damage to a ship's hull ("Fire the chipper-shredder beam!"), but I'm pretty sure at this point the other ships are just adding insult to injury.... Models created in DOGA-L3 and Carrara. Rendered in Carrara. Postwork (and lots of it) in GIMP 2.6. This is much reduced in size and resolution from the original image so it could fit on rendo.

Giant space shot gun! Well, at Atomic Rocket, it's been pointed out the even kitty litter, launched with enough delta-V will make an effective space weapon.... Gret looking image, by the way.

It doesnt take a lot.. All it takes is volley damage. What you do is group your simular weapons (All phasers with phasers, or particle accelorator weapons with like)so that they fire and recharge at the same rate... Nasty ugly things happen when the firing starts! WOOHOO!!. Learned this playing a veeery popular and addictive space MMO. Great Image!!
