Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

And I wonder if they still do.

I wonder how long that has been there. Maybe a week, maybe decades? Maybe they've married, lived their lives together and are now gone. Maybe they split up and have forgotten each other. But this was certainly a confluence of affection at one time.

Wonderful light ... it really shows off the heart! I wonder if either of those Js will see this. ??? Wouldn't that be something?

Excellent clarity, contrast and texture in this shot of what we call graffiti down Southern California way, M. A fine line runs between an expression of love and vandalism.
