You might spot me at Kirra Beach, the South-Eastern end of the Gold Coast, Australia,  if you like beach walking like myself... but there is more ! My son Jeff (*jif3d*, here at Rendo, it helps to advertise, ooops)... he took this pic of me in 2000, then manipulated it in photo-shop and it's still one of my favourites. Just very briefly about my past... *born in East Prussia; *grew up in Berlin, West Germany; *migrated to "OZ" in 1960, (not the Wizard of Oz) but...AUSTRALIA ! I guess  I was more into '2D' since early childhood, and thinking that my son Jeff may have inherited some of my artistic skills, because he translated them into '3D'. I am hooked on photography, since I discovered cameras... that's it in a nutshell. BTW - one of my fav.quotes.... ** I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure - which is trying to please everybody !**                                              that's a wrap... Cheers Brigitte.

Beautiful shot Brigitte and I would like to think that all thing elf and fairy exist. It would be a much less interesting place if they didn't.

Love those clouds! Well, we have out longest day today. Getting light at 4:20 am and it doesn't get dark till well after 10:30pm. Right now enjoying a daytime thunderstorm, with full sunshine and no rain...looks really odd.

A lovely capture of these happy looking clouds. I like how you have the dark frame of the trees to really make them stand out.

Perfect exposure to show the full glory of the sky and clouds- love the sihlouette effect of the foreground tree framing this!

well, after all my talk about your design-sense (and transforming photos), you post a pure photo of deep beauty. The clouds look like a grand mountain range. And the deep oranges---an autumnal orange (something we don't get in the winter solstice, up here in the arctic)---and the deep blacks of the ground and those over-arching branches and leaves above, and that single Japanese-like moon, are all so beautiful and simple. I mean, it's complex, but it's also simple. It does have a Japanese sense to it. You framed it all with those silhouetted trees and leaves, so that we feel like we're viewing the clouds and moon through a very intimate space. It's beautiful, Brigitte, and you picked the perfect hue for your signature. A truly poetic photograph.
