Description

Happy Summer Solstice to You All! and I hope the weather is a bit better than here! Yesterday a whirlwind hit the eastern part of this province, and it hailed severely on the southern part, leaving 20 cms or more of hail icy stones on the ground. Of course the temperature dropped, and we had to dig wool blanlets and jackets out of the wardrobes. Fortunately I'm so lazy that I hadn't put them away yet, so it was easy to recover them from a chair in the mess of my room... This is the shot I took from the kitchen balcony, on the second floor of a condo. It's the Chinese hairdresser's shop window reflecting the people waiting under the porched pavement for some break in the pour as well as those inside. With a bit of postwork. Thanks for your kind comments.

It really is a wonderful shot Sandra and so reflective in so many ways. Have to agree with Claude that it has a certain dream like feel to it. Sorry for all the bad weather, hope things improve soon.

Great looking photo, it does look rather dreamlike. At the moment we're in the middle of a rather loud afternoon thunderstorm, but the suns still out and there's no rain to speak of.

you captured the right mood here,i hope there will not be too much damage.but its every year the same i think.it only hits the poor in fact when devastating rainpours down.as soon as you flick on tv,you see catastrophes murder violation and corruption.what a world.
