Description

I am interested in expressing something that has built up from within, then been extracted from without. -Ansel Adams I continue to be pressed for some decent quiet time in which to create this week. The thing about Spartacus and his friends is that they tend to get dirty and bloody, which means, you guessed it, lots of overtime in post work. Those hours have yet to show up. Someone else did show up this week; someone so easy on the eyes that post work is a memory before you know you're there. That's My Cori! I'd almost forgotten how easily it is to fall into enchantment with this heaven-sent muse. After looking at yesterday's post a while I rejoined her to create something new. The craft proved to be a delight as Cori was so appropriately attired in Viki's wondrous My Angel texture. Yeah, there's definitely an angel absent from the heavens today! The Wyz': "I didn't know angels had freckels." Then you must never have visted Ireland, Mark. We shall have to remedy that one day. I assure you, it is not heaven she is yearning for. She is merely contemplating that which all angels do: the uncountable years upon the periphery of, yet exiled from, the fields of manifestation. That which humans take for granted and often curse ... any angel would willingly trade an eternity to experience, were it allowed. Only rarely is it ever so, for with such transformation comes a nearly unbearable yearning for all that has gone before and is now lost to this beautiful world. It is nothing more than this which you recognize. T.

Nice work, as always. I especially like the way the sunlight reflects on her skin. Always tricky with a background stemming from somewhere "outside" Poser. "a nearly unbearable yearning", don't we all experience that from time to time. And isn't this thing we do a way to try and overcome that feeling; and don't we show the results here in the hope to find kindred spirits to share it with?
