Description
This is the second Dragonfly I encountered on my walk-about down the valley. This one was only two thirds the size of the bee-eating beauty!
I liked the way the eyes seemed to refect the greenery surrounding it. Insects always seem to be 'at one' with their surroundings - except yesterday's bee of course - that was more an 'in one' situation. ^=*
Thank your for taking the time to look. ^-^

According to my super new Dragonfly book, this is the male, which is why he is smaller.(!) I live just outside its range, but only just, so maybe one day I'll see one.
