Description
This is a collaboration with my dearest friend Michael, our seventh, I believe, and I certainly hope you all enjoy them as much as we do working on them together. Thank you Michael for wanting to continue to post our work together, I am flattered by your interest. And as you know I love and admire your work. I sure hope you will all go over to Michaels gallery and read the poem he wrote to go with my photo here and also visit some of his other previous post... It's not a far walk just right next door... :)
Oh and Michael it has been so much fun watching the World Cup games together I was so disappointed to see Germany lose, but they played some good and exciting games.. still want to watch the finals together?
Thank you all for the birthday wishes and comments to my last post. I got a sweet compliment from my daughter the day of my birthday, she was gone at her sisters so she called to wish me a happy birthday and I said gosh I am getting old, and she replied to me, with age come beauty, she is just 17, and so wise LOL, I miss her so much she will be home Saturday morning yippee oh and with a new puppy named Lola..
I've been singing that song called Lola to the cat for two weeks now trying to prepare her haha..

Ultra cool rendition of the antediluvian cabin/shack, Lynell! And, is that song, Whatever Lola wants, Lola gets, and little man, little Lola wants you, (from Damn Yankees)? And, no comment about the World Cup Games. I'm still tired from the NBA finals, and the Dodgers go up and down like a yo-yo.

I met her in a club down in old soho Where you drink champagne and it tastes just like cherry-cola Coca-cola] C-o-l-a cola She walked up to me and she asked me to dance I asked her her name and in a dark brown voice she said lola L-o-l-a lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola and my son tends to text me daily about whats new with the Dodgers win or lose lol and thanks Michael I look forward to watching the the next game with you.. I will bring the beers.

Excellent image with stunning color and detail! The mood of lost connections is palpable. The capture of stuff piled high beyond the window, emphasizes that even if a portion of the building is used, most of it is ignored. As with Michael's excellent poem, it makes me think of people and the sections of our lives that lay unused and covered over as they fall to bits. I must say, thanks very much to you and Michael for sending my thoughts into dark territory. lol. But seriously, your collaborations are always a treat that take my mind on a journey. This time it was a melancholy, but beautiful path. A new puppy! What fun for all, except maybe Rascal!

The only word that comes to mind is 'corpse'. The feeling of decay is strong. Outstanding detail and composition. It looks like the occupants just walked away.
