Description

I have had this image in my files for way over a year now! I captured it at the Lion and Rhino Park just about 45 minutes drive north of where I live! They raise (amongst others) tigers and cheetahs in semi-captivity to help raise funds for the protection of both endangered species. This clown worked with two Bengal tigers and completely freaked me out! He allowed this 300pound + animal to lay on top of him and lick his head! Yikes first of all and 'I think NOT' secondly!!!! Anyway - I thought it would be either amusing or entertaining! Thank you for popping in and for your very welcome comments and favs on my series of uploads on Namibian Wild Flowers! I really appreciate it! Stay well! Hugs Carin xx

You have captured a really great shot. How stupid is he!!! He couldn't get up even if he wanted to - completely at the mercy of this animal.

I am sure that tiger will be full to the brim with food, I hope. Lovely pic for us to see as it shows what people do to help other animals :o)

Now that's something to see! How many licks does it take to get to the center of this Toostie pop may be running through the tigers mind. ;)

Fantastic capture and a very funny title. These 300 pound cats are probably treated like his children. Dana

It could be worse, Carin! It could have been a Siberian Tiger! This is amazing! Tigers are such magnificent cats. More so than Lions really, the males of which area a lazy lot! Wonderful image. ^=^
