this was the same evening as the previous 71810
I went to visit my son and he probably will remain in the hospital through tomorrow.a surgeon will not know if surgery is necessary until the swelling goes done in his finger.the anti venom cost $8000 for the first dose and $4000 each for the following 3, so a total $20,000.makes me dizzy. good it is a workman's comp claim

I did use one time that workman's comp too... pretty helpful! Good shot here... a storm is coming this way from the ocean... I've seen lots of lightnings, but they still far from here...

Nice shot Richard looks lovely.. Do hope all goes well with your son and that his finger is ok.. $20,000. Thats unbelievable what was it 10 gallons of the stuff used.. How do they justify that price it daylight robbery. I'm glad we don't have snakes and poison spiders etc here. And if we ended up in hospital here in NZ all that would be paid by the government..

This is a great capture Richard, what a spectacular view. Keeping your son in my prayers and hope the thumb improves to the point they don't have to do surgery. As for the cost of the anti-venom it took me a moment to recover from shock at the cost of it after reading what you said.

Quite the money racket that medical business is...I've learned that all to well since this incident with my son's brain injury. Sorry its going to cost so much and he's got to go through so much Richard...send him our best wishes when you can. Love your clouds.
