Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Hehe! Miss that car but not the boy! I had a friend who, at parties, would sidle up to a good-looker and say" Hello! How big is your yacht?"

Lovely interior shot of the car, Nice!!

Cool! My first super-steamy makeout was in a 60's green Mustang with a drive like this at a drive-in theater with a guy I was mad about. The windows of his car were completely wet with the condesation of our young love. Thanks for the memories.... Hello Michael Van Hart if you are out there:)

Beautiful color effects in this capture, M! And, guess what, I not only still drive a four on the floor, I have a five on the floor! Yes, I drive a rather old stick-shift sedan, but it gets me where I'm going, gets good mileage, and still looks nice because it's kept in the garage when not being driven. The only drawback to all this is because of its banal family car appearance, I don't have any success picking up women with it.

Great shot. I have tried sticks only twice. Never really got the hang of it. Aloha

Memories are made of this! She's real fine my 409 She's real fine my 409 My 409 Well I saved my pennies and I saved my dimes Giddy up giddy up 409) For I knew there would be a time Giddy up giddy up 409) When I would buy a brand new 409 Brian Wilson/Gary Usher

Sing along with me...she's real fine my four oooh niiiiine....Yes, those 409's were great. When I was a kid my friend's dad had an old metallic blue 64 that he washed and waxed religiously. I love this shot and had forgotten how long those Chrysler Corp Pistol Grip shifters were. The detailing and light in this pic are great. I love how you can see the fine little air holes in the patterning of the driver's seat vinal. Now I've got to try and figure out if this is a Barracuda, a Challenger, a Charger or a Coronet R/T. Judging by the console I'm veering toward the latter. Or not. Wonderful shot!

I think it's a Charger. :| LOL! Seriously! Great shot.
