we going back up on to the deck and I handed my son the camera to take a photo of me. It was dark and the flash was still on so it went off and i did not think about it intill later on i should had taken the flash off for the sun light was good on my face. Anyway it did come out good for you see the pipes and lines in this one really good. i like that. Even the railing of the stairs that got burn out to white came off good too. And yes the stairs is just like the railing you see in the photo; it real steep. Hurt my knees but hey you got to do what you got to do...
after this photo i going to jump to the grave yard next time I post. wow so much to see and I posted some of the guns on deck but not all the little offices and evern the deck shots; not to say anything of depth charges and stuff like that.
Oh if you need the deck texture go to google and type in photojock. click on it and you will see some real good texture of a steel deck I took and posted there at morguefiles.com
i posted this image here for i learned if i did not take the shot it goese somewheres else I got to look it up or ask a mod to help me.
hope you like it. Forgot what a door way is called. i know some sailor will tell me.

What a shot! I love all of the details and the idea to include yourself in this! You know, the flash doesn't detract from this at all. You were right to post this as it is, the details are fantastic, and I think the flash has the effect of really giving a size of that steep climb. This is quite a nice shot.
