This is the other side of the previous posting on " Dredge 1." It was boarded up to prevent people from getting into & onto it and possibly hurting themselves and the owners having law suits. But like anything else if there is a way to get into or onto an old vessel and take pictured the way will be found, and needless to say the interior of as dredge is well pretty much a big black hole. The main purpose of the owners of this dredge was that it had been planned to be made into a floating restaurant, in itself and interesting idea, the space was there, entrance was easy, and perhaps an interesting nautical theme was to be applied.But as of this writing I am not sure that that transpired, as perhaps it was towed away and scrapped, or some ill begotten fate became it. But it did serve as in part as a poignant reminder of an event that shook the world many years back and changed the course of our history and our thinking on the contemporary warfare as we know it today, and it was a chilling reminder.
